Getting back into the groove after a holiday is always a daunting task. I would much prefer to stay on break indefinitely, and so would my children. My Etsy shop has been doing great in the new year, (which is very exciting!) but it leaves me feeling a little overwhelmed when I try to factor in the homeschooling, general housework, cooking, and quality time with my Husband. I am trying to come up with a good balance so that I don't neglect the kids, the house, or the hubby when he gets home from work. I am extraordinarily unorganized, which does not help my case in the slightest. I spend about 5 hours day working my Etsy shop, 4 hours a day being a homeschool teacher to my son who is in 3rd grade, and my daughter who is doing a light version of Kindergarten at age 4. Then there is my 3 year old daughter, my sweet Ryleigh. She is truly the sweetest and most caring little girl you will ever meet. She is kind and soooo intelligent HOWEVER, she is the type of child that can get into the craziest mischief. It would not surprise me to hear one of my other children come to me and say. "Mom, Ryleigh is climbing on the roof, wearing nothing but a diaper, barking like a dog!" Let's just say she keeps me on my toes.
Can I just ask, how do you (whoever you may be) deal with sibling rivalry? My children bicker ALL the time! I am trying to raise Godly children and "train them up in the way they should go." They know that "a soft answer turns away wrath." But they fight over anything and everything you could imagine. I fought with my sister too growing up, so I understand some of it, and I suppose having 3 instead of just the 2 of us makes it worse. So anyway...HELP!! :-)
